My New Dessert...

Well. . .
It rained. Agh I sure can't wait for the summer! Though I am told it's not that much better :(
Still, even with the rain, we had an amazing Adopt-A-Block! We had 7 volunteers go out (2 new)!! We split into two different teams. Mine and Abigail's group got to visit with several people! After litter picking and family visiting we headed back to the church. Shortly after I went over to my N. Irish family's house (the Agnew's - my friend Lynsey's family). Watched some TV and had a phone call with Lyns. After Stephen and I went over to Luke and Natasha's house (Her cousins) and Tasha made some delicious dinner. Not really sure what it was. . . LOL she kinda just threw some stuff into a dish but it was yummy :)
Afterwards we all decided to go to the cinema - but got there a bit too late and ended up heading to the rental place. Not quite sure whyLOL but the boys got to pick the movie (the new Planet of the Apes) LAME! We went back to the Agnew's house and watched another film while we ate snacks and then put on that film. Wasn't too happy with the outcome (sorry if you loved it but there were way too many flaws for me). Ya Tasha and I have decided that from now on we shall have girls nights only. . .
Stayed the night in Lynsey's room - (sigh) to be in a house again :) And got to the church early this morning for worship practice.
Today was lovely - had some minor road bumps along the way - but that's good - means the devil's mad. Means God's moving :) All in all though church this morning and this evening were fantastic. Went to Alan and Rachel's again for lunch in between the services. Lamb and potatoes! And then watched Over the Hedge with Benjamin. Haha he loved the film - made me rewind "Hammy's burp" 8 times. . . such a boy! Then Rach made some meringue with cream and kiwi. Side note: Other than ice cream I'm not much of a dessert person, but since moving out here I have grown to appreciate it much more (puddings, cakes, pavlova, etc. . .) I must say though that BY FAR meringue with fresh fruit and cream is my favorite! Mmmmmm!
Went into town for a short bit with Rachel and the boys while Alan watched his football match. And then it was back to church for the night service (which I mentioned earlier was good)

I know everyone back home is probably watching the Super Bowl. First one I've missed in I think 9 or 10 years. I don't really care for either team but because of my Yankee-like hatred towards the Pats I would've probably gone for the Giants. I'm just glad my sister is recording the commercials for me!

I work tomorrow for Hannah who is away on holiday at the moment. I plan on meeting Tasha in Belfast afterwards so that should be fun :) PLEASE GOD SEND NO RAIN! xo

Well I hope all is well!!
Missing you guys!
