A Whole Lot of Blonde...

Just had the loveliest Saturday :)

Started out going to Adopt-A-Block. Still getting over my jetlag (This morning was the hardest so far! Literally got out of bed 3 minutes before I was supposed to leave!) Conor, L-j, Camz, and Charlie(boy) all came out to help with AAB and they were BRILLIANT! Picked up every piece of liter - I didn't even have to ask ONCE! So proud of them!

Emma, Jacs, and I got to spend some time talking to James while the other 4 went out on a liter competition (first one to fill their bag won). In my opinion, turning things into a game makes crappy tasks more fun :) We all also got to go and visit Vera. Love her!


Jaclyn and I had tickets to see Legally Blonde at the Grand Opera House tonight. Spent the afternoon relaxing and getting ready! I hadn't been to the theatre since August of 2010 when I went with the Movement Staff to see South Pacific.

We took the bus into town and walked the short bit to the theatre. It wasn't raining so other than my sore ankle I quite enjoyed the walk. We ended up arriving an hour and a half early so Jacs suggested we give ourselves a tour of the famous Europa Hotel which was down the street. It was gorgeous! Ha however it only used up about 15mins of our "extra time", so after much thought and weighing of the pros and cons, we headed back to where our bus dropped us off to pick up some Starbucks :)

 

Finally the show began and it was amazing! Pink PINK everywhere!! The performers all did a really good job. Singing, dancing, and acting. . . and I'm a harsh critic! Jacs and I both have done some musicals before and this show really got us thinking about going off and joining Broadway! Haha what if. . .
