Not a lot of exciting things to write about. I worked in the office all day. Got all of my lessons prepared for Junior Youth for the next month and a half. Had a couple meetings. Packed up my office - (I'm moving to another across the hall and turning my current one into a bedroom) . . .Hmmm been moving a lot lately.
Tonight after dinner Rachel and I picked out songs for Sunday mornings worship. She's going for a short holiday to visit her sister so I'll be leading worship this week (Ohemgee. . . praying all goes well). Then we had a cup of tea and a meringue biscuit with some strawberries and cream while we watched Sundays taped episode of the X-factor.
Now I am working on my message for tomorrow's bible study. I'm speaking on living a masquerade life. . . I just cant seem to stay focused long enough to finish it! So I decided to take a moment and write on the blog :)
Tomorrow I have a busy day. . . well actually I have a busy couple of weeks ahead of me. Not really sure what it all will look like exactly but that's what makes the adventure more exciting - THE UNKNOWN.
Random Irish fact to leave you with. . .
The Chip (French Fry)
They sure do love it! In the states if you hear the word french fry you most likely will think of a fast food restaurant. That or a burger joint is where you commonly will see the fry. Here in N. Ireland - it's EVERYWHERE! They serve you fries with your take-out Chinese food and when you order pizza! The other day when Sue and I went out to that nice restaurant where she got duck (and I got some delicious chicken) they served us "chips" on the side in a dainty silver cup. . . haha they looked so out of place! And then the other day Sue made me an omelette for breakfast. . . and what did she serve with it on the side? Oh yes some "chips". I have yet been served them for dessert or with my tea - but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if one day it happens!
Hope you are enjoying yourself on this lovely day! Mine is just about to end and your's still has plenty of hours left :) So enjoy every minute of it! September 20, 2011 is a once in a lifetime day!
xoxo
