The past two days have been long but good. (I've been fighting a cold so that could be what made them long... ) Had yesterday off so I slept in and then after a mocha at the Cozy Chair I took a three hour walk along the beach. I hadn't yet been down to Lough Shore even though it's literally across the street from the Dream Centre. It was the most refreshing walk I've been on in years. At times I was all alone and seemingly in the middle of nowhere. It was breathtaking and I was surrounded by beautiful details everywhere I looked. Hahaha I took my camera and decided to head back for home when my batteries died! I cant lie - I definitely collected a purse full of shells. . . Another item to catch my eye was glass bottles. Tons of broken glass that had been smoothed from the sand and waves. Tops of bottles, large pieces, small ones, blue, clear, green, brown. . . I haven't decided what creative project I'm going to use them for yet but I'm definitely deep in thought on it :) I plan on going back out tomorrow with a bag to collect some more with.
After work today Hannah and I chatted for a good hour. Getting to know each other better - realizing a lot of similarities between the two of us. She, like me, is living away from home as well and struggles with a lot of the same things i do. Love how close we are getting. She took me in to Tescos so I could buy some more groceries. Still living at the church. Tonight is my second night solo (without Rose) and I'm surviving thus far. A little discouraged today but remembered this quote and it put things back into perspective for me; "The quickest way to defeat discouragement is to narrow the audience you are trying to please down to one."
Determined not to let the enemy get me down!
Have a busy day tomorrow and another one after that. And another, and another, and another :) Best be getting to bed! Sleep is just what the doctor ordered! What I wouldn't give for some thieves and echinacea right about now! Hope yall are good!
Missing you!!!
