We had church this morning - worship aside from a couple minor flops - went alright praise God :) Much better than our practise. Was very proud of how everyone did and pleased with their positive attitudes throughout it all. Pastor Henry's message was excellent (His Nigerian accent is still pretty hard to follow so I struggle every time he says "repeat after me" . . . but other than that it was great!).
One down fall this morning was the unfortunate accident that took place in my efforts to find candy to keep Benjamin quiet during service! After worship I ran into my room (remember I'm currently living at the church) and was looking for a piece of candy to bribe the boy with. I was walking to the other side of the room and stepped on one of the air mattresses. Unfortunately I forgot I still had my heels on and next thing I heard was a loud POP! I looked down and saw a perfectly shaped hole the size of my heel as the mattress immediately began to flatten!

I attempted tonight to fix it. Hmmmm no duct tape in sight so I had to put some double-sided tape on the hole cause it seemed to be the stickiest. I heated it up with a blow dryer before putting on a layer of clear tape. Finally finishing it off with two layers of masking tape. It is still losing air - but much slower than before. Now we have two bad mattresses! Oh well . .

I went to Vinny and Andrea's house for lunch - Vinny cooked a delicious rice and chicken meal. Spent the afternoon visiting with them. SIDE NOTE: They have the two prettiest cats but I am suffering for it now with my bad allergies :(
Church tonight was EXCELLENT! We had the youth give testimonies and share a little bit. . . they did amazing! Really ministered to me! Here is one of the testimonies that was shared tonight. . .

Have tomorrow off! Plan on sleeping in and then maybe heading into town solo for a chill day. Supposed to be decent weather so we'll see!
Texans lost tonight - such a downer! So stupid how American Football still can affect my mood even on another continent!! CRAZY! To lift my spirits Rose and I rented a movie via itunes and had a girls night.
Well it's beyond late. . . actually its now "early" so i probably should head to bed. Have a great night!
