Lazy Day...

Not much to write today but didn't want to skip another.

Spent the day with Rachel - running errands and such. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. A typical day. . .

SIDE NOTE: I weighed myself yesterday and sad to say I haven't gained but one pound since moving over here! What?!? I have never eaten so much in my life. It was a very disappointing moment for me. I don't think I'll ever be able to give blood. . .

Spent a lot of time in thought today. For some reason I was slightly discouraged. . . but the Lord continually reminded me of His beauty and His purpose for my life in many simple yet meaningful ways.

Had girls night with Rach and our One Tree Hill again - extremely intense episode. I do treasure our moments together. Rachel has been a huge comfort to me out here. I am so blessed to have her in my life. ♥



RANDOM IRISH WORDS:

* To "fancy" someone is to "like" them or have a "crush" on them. I think its the cutest thing when the youth are like; "Soooo who do you fancy?" Sounds like something straight from a movie.

* The "trunk" of a car is called a "boot". And a "yard sale" or a "garage sale" is called a "car boot sale".

* Haha this one is my downfall - To "meet" is to "make-out". Needless to say I had a couple awkward moments during Adopt-a-Block when I would walk away and say; "Bye! It was nice meeting you!"

* "Champ" (pronounced almost like "chomp") is mashed potatoes made with scallions, milk, and butter. A very popular Irish dish. In my opinion it's practically mashed potatoes - tastes pretty good :)
