What a wonderful day finished by a crazy-fun night with friends!
Worked in the office completing random tasks i had already begun. . . this includes the internship application - woohoo! Finally got that sucker finished!
Around lunch time I took a break (uhh for lunch) and noticed a big box sitting on a desk near my office. Luke (a guy who is doing work placement with us for the next few months) had just brought it down from the upstairs loft. In it were tons of t-shirts and sweatshirts with the words "CCN TV" on the back. Hannah came over and the two of us rummaged through the box taking several sweatshirts and t-shirts for ourselves. Each one was in its own package and either white, periwinkle blue, or light grey. The best thing about them is they looked and felt like they were from 1985! Softest t-shirts ever - as tho they have been worn and washed hundreds of times! (Now technically they couldn't possibly be that old because CCN wasn't formed until after 2000.) Still they totally made my day and I cant wait to wear one of them!
After work I went out for a quick run. I sprinted at the end up the last hill . . . something my friend Tarvoris always had me do (he trained me for the LA Marathon back in 2010). It was a difficult run but I got through it - constantly picturing the youth - my inspiration for running this year.
Ate dinner a bit later and practiced on tomorrows worship songs with Jackie until our friend Nathan showed up. We all hung out in the game room until Nathan decided to practice flipping. Thus moving our party to the sanctuary with the open floor plan . . . and beginning our gymnastics, break-dancing, working out, dance off party. Hahaha so much fun! Natasha and Luke came a few hours later and after a good chat in the kitchen filling up with caffeine (tea, coffee, coke) we were ready to continue our party. Played Nintendo and Wii for the rest of the night. Luke gave us more luke-isms than I have room to write! Haha but ultimately keeping the laughter going all night.
Just sent them off and now that's me off to bed while Jacs (who is still on a caffeine high) is washing dishes.
Ready for an amazing day tomorrow! I wonder what it holds!
