What a day today has been! Worked in the office - getting flyer's made and what not. Had a meeting with Dr Stewart - meeting with someone on Tuesday at Stormont in hopes to move forward with the Belfast Dream Centre. Please keep it in your prayers! Also prepared Junior Youth lessons for the next month.
Headed out to Street Reach around 6pm. Vinny said he wasn't feeling too well - poor guy (but it takes alot for him to miss a Friday night). And what a night it was! Every volunteer stepped it up! Really got to visit with people! The rain was back - but only just a drizzle.
I LOVE these teens! They all seriously have me won over! I got to pray for one of my girls! LOVE HER! Continuing to believe that God is going to touch her heart. Got to see loads of my favorites. . . but there were a handful of the regulars that didn't show. So sad. I hate going weeks without seeing them! Can't wait until we have a drop-in centre and I can see them daily!
Afterwards Vinny dropped Jacs and I off at Tescos. We got all our groceries (before we ran out this time!) and then took a taxi home. I think its funny how having a kitchen full of food excites me the way it does. Haha but I do love my food!
I was just about to call it a night and head for bed but I got bit with the insecure bug and the homesick bug and the extra tired bug all at once. I don't know - maybe I've been holding it all in these past 2 months. Nothing happened - I just sat on my bed and. . . WHAM . . . tears started streaming down my cheeks.
Ultimately the last hour aside from the tears has been beautiful. God really showed up and started to fill me and speak to me on certain things. If you want to see change you must first change YOU. He then started to downpour ideas for this youth drop-in centre! I cant wait til Monday when I can put it down on paper!
Well it is a bit later than I had anticipated. Time for me to call it a night!
