p.s. Pray 4 Alan...

Hello again!

Yesterday’s quick recap: Church. Lunch w/ Allison, Jackie, and Sharon at the Clarion Hotel - Mmm! Naptime for Julie. Church again. Just Dance party with Jaclyn.

I must take a second and elaborate on the last one there. Thanks to Maggie who let us borrow her Wii game - Just Dance (the Michael Jackson version) it has taken over my life! So much fun and what a workout I have been getting! You basically copy the motion of the dancer on the screen and the better you do the higher score you receive. "Thriller" is by far my favorite and I only stopped last night due to the pain in my wrists. . . It's always nice to have nights of random fun.

Today we were off - Hooray!!! Slept in a little bit and then I took Jacs to see the Carrickfergus Castle! I hadn’t been there in about a year so it was exciting to go again. I definitely transported into several different films (Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Robin Hood, etc...) And even did some spontaneous re-enactments - much to the amusement of Jacs!

Entering the doorway to my adventure. . .

Jacs serious pose . . .

I was re-enacting here. . .
looking for pirate ships with my gun ready
My serious pose . . . sitting on a petrified rock chair

Later on Hannah dropped us off at the Abbeycentre where we went on a long overdue shopping trip. (We had next to nothing left in the pantry/fridge. I had rice last night for dinner, a cup of coffee for breakfast, and potatoes for lunch) Now our kitchen is full of a delicious selection of dinners and munchies!
Spent the evening cleaning and watching TV as well as having a Skype date with my lil' sisters back home - Ray & Bek. A little over a month until I go home for a visit! Can’t wait!
Well tomorrow starts the beginning of another week. BRING IT ON!
-J

ps Please keep Alan in your prayers this week! He left this morning for work in Nigeria. There have been several kidnapping incidents in the past year of foreigners (some fatal). Proverbs 3:5-6 Trusting in the Lord to direct Alan! Pray for his safety and also for a peace of mind for him and his family. God is in control!
